A Story of Growing Together
It wasn't built overnight. We grew because our students grew. Here's a quick look at how we got to where we are today.
- 2012 — The Spark That Started It All: A BSc IT student noticed something was broken—classes weren't truly preparing students for exams or real understanding. That frustration became a mission: change the way IT subjects are taught.
- 2014 — From Student to Teacher: Still in his final year of BSc IT, that same student started mentoring BCA and BSc IT juniors. With over 80 students already learning from him, ExtraBits was officially born—right inside a college classroom.
- 2016 — 250+ Students, Zero Marketing: No ads, no promotions—just pure trust and results. With 250+ students, almost all of them toppers, ExtraBits proved that quality teaching speaks louder than any marketing campaign.
- 2018 — How It Scaled: We formalised the vision: university students shouldn't have to study from messy notes or feel lost before exams. Structured courses, professional materials, and dedicated doubt-solving sessions became the standard.
- 2020 — The Word Spread: What started in one classroom quickly grew. We helped our first 1,000 students pass with flying colors. No fancy marketing, just students telling their friends.
- 2022 — Tackling the Tough Stuff: We started taking on the hardest subjects—advanced programming, complex math modules—the subjects everyone else was afraid to teach.
- 2024 — Still Here, Still Teaching: Today, we consistently produce university toppers. But our favorite thing is still watching that 'aha!' moment when a student finally understands a tough concept.
