- Merit on 12th marks: there is no entrance exam. Admission is based on your Class 12 percentage, with state reservation rules.
- Any stream can apply: 12th Science, General (Commerce) or Vocational students are eligible. The prospectus keeps 55% of seats for science students and 45% for other streams.
- Board quota: 80% of seats are for GSEB students and 20% for students from other boards.
How to Choose the Right BCA College
- University: VNSGU colleges share one syllabus and exam; a private university has its own.
- 3-year or 4-year: a BCA (Hons.) takes an extra year, so compare total fees, not just one semester.
- Shift and travel time: many colleges run morning and noon batches. Pick one you can reach easily.
- Labs and faculty: visit the campus and ask how much practical lab time you get each week.
- Seniors' advice: talk to current students about teaching, results and projects.
